This is another combined casual and tempo club ride down to Bosham with Paul Jordan leading the casual group down and Mike leading (or hanging on to) the tempo group.

Paul's group will leave at 8.45am sharp and the tempo group will depart 20 mins later at 9.05am, with the object being both groups will arrive at Bosham the same time (mechanicals permitting)

Down to Littlehampton through as many quiet country lanes as possible.

Tried and tested route to the Meon Valley and South Downs.

Meeting at Milford Station at 8.15 for an 8.30 departure

A lovely hilly ride over the Surrey Hills to Great Bookham

Tea/Coffee stop is at Polesden Lacy

And back via Dunsfold to Milford

Approx. 1200m of climbing

Distance will be 101 km - will be about 5hrs with stops

Speed 24kph (but significantly slower up White Down)

 A scenic ride round the Isle of Wight, missing out the hilly bits around Ventnor, and most of the busy roads.

Loop out to Plaistow and Duncton back to Haslemere via Midhurst. Good bit of climbing. 

Long ride to Arundel

Planning a big loop starting at Pilgrims Way (National trust car park) GU4 8AD. the rough route will be,,, St Marthas Hill, Newlands Corner, Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill then to Peaslake stores for tea and cake stop. we will then do Pitch Hill and then back via Blackheath.

there will be a good mix for trails, from single track, bridal ways, fire road and lots of up and downs

if you are coming along take the usual, spare tubes, water, food, money for cakes, tools, clothes for any seasonal weather we may get.

no one will be left behind and the route can be varied depending on how we are all feeling

I think the route could take up to 5 to 6 hours  

Trip down to Climping beach

A hilly ride through the beautiful Surrey Hills.  Climbs include Horseblock Hollow, Pitch Hill, Whitedown, Box Hill, and Coldharbour.  This ride will take over 4 hours, so with a coffee stop don't expect to be back 'till 2:00pm.

Good strong ride through the Meon Valley with a few long climbs

We'll be heading up to Winterfold, Pitch Hill, and Holmbury too. I will be cramming as much single track as possible in, in prep for wales. This will mean a LOT of climbing, if I'm feeling nice I might try and make some of them on tarmac or fireroad tracks but you never know. I'll be aiming this at 4 hours inclusive of the obligatory cheese straw, flapjack and cuppa stop at the usual mtbers haunt in peaslake but we could run over depending on the size and speed of the group. This will be a red graded ride, ideally minimal stopping to regroup and lots of technical and rooty singletrack, though no one will be left behind and everything will be rollable. I've been over there riding 7.5 of the last 24hours and the trails are running beautifully!

Please ensure your fitness and bikes are up to the job, bring normal tools, energy bars, helmet and appropriate clothing for the weather, let's hope it stays warm and sunny!

Meeting point is the Farley Heath car park, as pretty much everyone drives this should save us some climbing and give us an extra hour ride time over Bramley station start point:.

Trip to Bosham and the coast

Sunday's ride takes us to Lasham Gliding club for a Tea / cake  refreshment stop. Taking in the wonderful hills and flats of the Surrey & Hampshire borders.

Big loop out East Hants direction with a few hard climbs and undulations thrown in.

Planning to head over to Tunnel Hill via bridleways, byways and fireroad round the ash ranges for some single track, probably a longer than average ride..

Rated it as a blue as I'm not planning any real killer climbs (just a few short and sharp ones), but there will be some technical single track and this will be a long ride (time & distance) so a good level of fitness and some stamina will be required! But all is not lost, there will be a good cafe stop around half way to recharge the batteries with hot drinks, flap jacks and even cooked brekkies available so bring your money! Ride time will depend on group size, mud level and how long we stop for to refuel, aiming for 5 hours so bring the normal spare tubes, energy bars and fluids. There will not be anyway to shortcut back to the meet point during the ride and we'll be a long way from the start point so please make sure you and your bikes are fully serviced and ready to go!
