We have moved to a new membership system provided by membermojo.co.uk with card payment via Stripe.
How will this affect me?
For April renewals onwards (March 2024 memberships will still renew by Direct Debit), members will be required to sign in to their membermojo account to confirm their details and renew their membership with payment by credit or debit card. We will, of course, cancel your Direct Debit beforehand. You will receive a first renewal reminder 9 days before your membership expiry date with a link inviting you to sign in and renew. You will not need a password.
Can I sign in now to view my details?
Yes. From the VCGH home page, go to About > Manage Your Membership. You will be able to view and update your details and set a password if you would like to. On the Update page, you can also opt to join the Members directory which allows participants to view each other’s email address and mobile phone number. We also encourage you to upload a photo of yourself to help other members get to know you.
Ride Leaders
Ride Leaders have access to a directory of members’ ICE (In Case of Emergency) details for use in the event of an emergency.

Please add these two email addresses to your contacts or safe senders list so that you don’t miss important emails about your membership such as renewal reminders.

Why are we making this change?
- To make the job of the membership secretary much more efficient, less time consuming and easier. This is a volunteer role and volunteers can be hard to recruit!
- We are swapping a manual spreadsheet based system for an automated database system with added data integrity.
- Members can view and update their details at any time so our data, particularly our ICE data, should be far more up to date and reliable.
- To get the full benefit of moving to membermojo, we had to choose one of two integrated payment systems. Unfortunately, GoCardless is not one, so we opted for Stripe.
