Everything gets blamed on global warming but the severe, adverse weather encountered in 2009 & 2010 has prompted the Catford Cycling Club to desert their ‘traditional’ January start for this early season Sportive. By moving the Hell of the Ashdown Challenge a month later it is hoped that the conditions will be kinder and not deter riders. So that there won’t be so many non-starters. Booking starts at – 00hrs 1st Nov 2010.
