New Integrated Calendar
club website now has an integrated calendar...
Just to let you know of some new stuff that has just been added to the club website. We now have a feature that allows us to create events and automatically notify members by email; and a calendar integrated into the website that shows all the events that have been created.
There are 4 types of event:
- Public event: this is a way of notifying other members of your favourite events. Simple create a description and a link to the events website so that people can enter if they want to.
- Charity event: this is a way of publicising your charity ride and asking for support
- Club Offroad event: provides a form for providing notice of MTB events covering all the information that is usually posted to the forum.
- Club road event: provides a form for proving notice of road events covering all the information that is usually posted to google calendars
All members can create Public and Charity events, only Ride Leaders/Ride Organisers are able to create Club offroad and Club Road events.
There is a new menu Calendar which gives you access to the club calendar and various other list of events. Hopefully it is all self-explanatory, any questions please email me or post something on the forum.
There maybe a few teething problems so please bear with it, feedback welcome. There is still a few minor tweaks to be done.
