A public event is an event that has been ridden by club member(s) in previous years and has been added to the club calendar for this year as recommendation for others to try.

MTB Marathon Series - Selkirk

The marathon concept:
As in previous years all events will have four different courses to choose from so that every rider can find a suitable challenge. The exception to this rule are the Exposure Lights Big Night Out weekends where there is one course length on Saturday night and three-four different lengths on Sunday. The courses are approximately 25, 50, 75 and 100km long.

Tour of Britain Pro Tour Ride (sportive)

Unit By Cycling, an initiative by The Prostate Cancer Charity in association with The Tour of Britain, is organising a cyclosportive ride using the route of one of the Tour's stages, provisionally 5 September.

Southern Sportive
